For our head office in Erp, we are looking for a procurement category manager. You will work directly under the director procurement, where you and your colleagues are responsible for the procurement for Van den Bosch at national as well as international level. You will be working in an expert team. Whatever the country, whatever the language, they know our industry inside out.
In the position procurement category manager, you are responsible for all forms of purchasing, hiring and contracting that occur at Van den Bosch. Together with the rest of the procurement team you are responsible for the contracting of intermodal services such as train and boat connections, trucking by subcontractors, tank cleaning, fuel and much more. You are always looking for the best suitable suppliers that fit the needs of the organisation. You also work through our Supplier Success Program to improve the right products and performance in cooperation with these suppliers. You are responsible for relationship management and proactively explore and follow (market) developments, new services and products and anticipate them.
