As a Junior Business Controller, you will support the organization and management in achieving both short- and long-term goals. You will contribute to creating financial awareness and support the delivery of insights that help improve processes and achieve organizational objectives.

As a Junior Business Controller at Van den Bosch, you are the link between figures and strategic decision-making. You analyze financial, commercial, and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and proactively share your insights with colleagues and management. You prepare reports that are accurate, timely, and compliant with applicable regulations, and you assist in preparing budgets and forecasts based on market developments. In addition, you support strategic planning by conducting financial analyses to assess the feasibility of specific initiatives. You monitor the cost structure and continuously look for ways to optimize costs and revenues and improve efficiency. Finally, you work closely with other departments within Van den Bosch to optimize financial and operational processes and strengthen overall performance.

Your profile
  • You have completed at least a Bachelor's degree (HBO level) in Business Administration, Business Economics, Finance, or a related field, and have 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience;
  • You have a good command of both Dutch and English;
  • You are able to look at the business with a critical mindset and challenge both the business and yourself;
  • You have the analytical ability to quickly and accurately understand processes, financial figures, and operational data, and proactively act on them;
  • You have strong communication skills, are results-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
