As a Customer & Account Specialist at Van den Bosch, you are the connecting link between the customer and our operations. You take ownership of the entire Quote-to-Cash process within your customer portfolio. From order intake and operational follow-up to invoicing and customer satisfaction, you oversee the complete process. With your service-oriented mindset and commercial awareness, you ensure an optimal customer experience and flawless service delivery. You are not only focused on executing processes but also take an active role in managing and further developing your customer portfolio.

In this role, you are the primary point of contact for your customers and ensure that their experience with Van den Bosch consistently stands out through quality, personal attention, and proactivity. You know your customers inside and out, understand their needs, and anticipate them before they are even expressed. You identify and monitor operational deviations and take timely action to keep everything on track, always maintaining a solution-oriented approach. As the link between customer and operations, you ensure effective stakeholder communication throughout the process. You coordinate communication, monitor progress, and ensure that commitments are met, while also looking beyond day-to-day operations. As an ambassador of continuous improvement, you actively contribute to enhancing our services. Both internally and externally, you are a constructive and trusted partner.

In addition, you are responsible for the accurate and timely administration of orders and invoicing. You work in a structured and detail-oriented manner, and no detail escapes your attention. You use data and KPIs to monitor performance and make decisions based on facts. You understand that your role has a direct impact on customer satisfaction, commercial opportunities, and the overall quality of our service. In this position, you will be part of our Commercial Department.


Customer & Account Specialist (NL)
Your profile
  • At least 2 years of Customer Service (B2B) experience
  • At least a completed MBO education with demonstrable HBO working and thinking level
  • Knowledge and experience of (intermodal) transport is an advantage
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language; proficiency in a second language such as German, Polish and/or Italian is a significant plus;
  • Strong collaboration skills and a quality-, customer- and results-oriented mindset.
