Van den Bosch is looking for a business developer. You will become part of the team that focuses on an online matching platform for shippers and carriers within the bulk sector. As a business developer you are responsible for attracting new customers for this successful platform. You will be working at one of our offices in Erp, which has recently been renovated.
As a business developer, you will be part of the team working on a platform where shippers and carriers in silo and tank transport come together to find the right match. In your position, you will focus on attracting and retaining new shippers; logistics parties who want their product transported. You will be in contact with customers throughout Europe and speak to them both physically and digitally.
As a business developer, you are responsible for the middle phase of the sales funnel. You are responsible for the introduction, onboarding, contracts and the first 10 trips. The lead time of these phases varies from less than 24 hours, to more than a year. When the customer enters the final phase, you hand over the respective customer to Commercial Support.
