As a Truck Planner, you and your colleagues in the Trucking team are responsible for planning and organizing road transport within the region, covering the Benelux, the Ruhr area in Germany, and Northern France. You aim to create this planning at the lowest possible cost while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction, striving for optimal truck utilization. You ensure that our trucks arrive at the loading or unloading locations at the right time, so our customers' products are delivered in perfect condition and exactly on schedule. You do this for truck-driver combinations belonging to Van den Bosch as well as for external carriers
Every day brings new challenges that may require you to adjust your planning as efficiently as possible. You are solution-oriented and gain energy from finding the best possible options. You maintain close contact with internal departments such as Customer Service and Master Planning (responsible for container planning). In addition, you ensure a smooth handover of the planning to the Fleet Planners so they can translate it into clear and efficient instructions for the drivers. It is important that you are resilient and able to stay calm under pressure. As a Truck Planner, you will be based at our headquarters in Erp, working within the Trucking team, which is part of our Dry Bulk division.
