Teamleader Trucking

We are looking for an ambitious Team Leader Trucking who brings energy and conviction to lead a team of 9 planners — a mix of both experienced and starting professionals. You are the main point of contact within your division and carry responsibility for the daily operations as well as the P&L. You ensure optimal deployment and scheduling of our trucks at the lowest possible cost while maintaining quality. You are co-responsible for the trucking strategy and translate it into concrete actions within your team.

You will work in a dynamic international environment, where you manage Truck and Fleet Planners who coordinate (inter)national transports in regions such as the Benelux, Ruhr area, and Northern France. This involves both owned and subcontracted trucks and drivers. Your responsibility goes beyond planning — you also manage and ensure the quality of around 130 drivers. Additionally, you identify developments within the division and actively contribute ideas on how the organization can respond to them. You know how to motivate, connect, and challenge your team to improve every day. You communicate clearly, report weekly on progress and achieved results, drive continuous improvement, and always keep the bigger picture in mind — both short- and long-term.

You will be based at our head office in Erp, working within the Liquid Division, and report directly to the Operations Manager Liquid.
