As a Supply Chain Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing client-specific logistics solutions that enhance efficiency, transparency, and overall effectiveness. Your role will involve continuously improving supply chain solutions to meet client needs. You will collaborate closely with clients, acting as a sparring partner to help them achieve their logistics goals, while advising them on sustainable practices that reinforce our leadership in sustainability within the industry.
Your daily tasks will include analyzing performance data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and using data analytics tools to analyze transport costs. You will design and implement intermodal transport concepts tailored to client needs and collaborate with internal teams (such as operations, customer service, and procurement) to align logistics strategies. In addition, you will build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and transportation providers to enhance service offerings.
Project management will also be a key part of your role, as you will lead or participate in initiatives aimed at improving supply chain efficiency. Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction is essential, and you will proactively engage with clients to address any concerns and ensure their needs are met.
