As a Planner, you are responsible for trips where we carry out local activities. You will be part of a team of approximately 7 colleagues. It is a challenging role in which you are responsible for planning, managing your drivers, subcontractors, and maintaining relationships with your customers.
In this role at Van den Bosch, you are (partly) responsible for a specific PMC (Product Market Combination). Your responsibilities include planning road transport, engaging carriers, managing drivers, and maintaining customer contact. It is a challenging and versatile role where multiple aspects come together. You are the first point of contact both internally and externally, allowing you to fully utilize and further develop your communication skills. In this role, it is important that you are resilient and able to switch quickly in order to keep operations running smoothly.
Of course, we do not expect you to be fully familiar with all the ins and outs of bulk transport right away. To get to know Van den Bosch and our industry, you will participate in an extensive onboarding program. After completing this program, you will be trained on the job by your colleagues so that you can start working independently.
