As a Planner within our Road division, you are responsible for our clients for whom we provide transport and on-site services. You will be working in a small but driven team. It is a challenging role in which you are responsible for the complete planning, your drivers, and the relationship management with your clients.
As a Planner at Van den Bosch, you are (partly) responsible for a specific PMC (Product Market Combination). You will be responsible for planning road transport, coordinating carriers, managing drivers, and maintaining contact with the client. It is a challenging and diverse role where multiple aspects come together. You will be the first point of contact both internally and externally, which allows you to use and develop your communication skills. In this role, it is important to stand your ground and be able to adapt quickly to keep the operation running smoothly.
In this role, you will have a fixed client portfolio. You will manage a dedicated group of drivers, and in this way, you are the link between planning, the client, and Van den Bosch. Of course, we don’t expect you to already know all the ins and outs of bulk transport. When you start at Van den Bosch, you will begin with an extensive introductory program at our own academy.
