We are Van den Bosch; The Supply Changer in Bulk. We believe that bulk logistics can be approached in a smarter way, and it is our mission to drive sustainable and tangible change within the sector through innovation, passion, expertise, and ambition. 

In this role, you are responsible for the full P&L of our Road department. You manage budgets, prepare forecasts, and continuously monitor costs. By thoroughly analyzing financial performance, you identify improvement opportunities and initiate targeted actions. You report regularly on KPIs, results, and trends, and you translate these insights into concrete improvement initiatives.

In addition, you focus on continuously strengthening our operational processes. You initiate and guide improvement projects aimed at efficiency, safety, and quality, ensuring that our operations remain future-proof.

As a leader, you manage a team of 4 planners and 1 UK Manager. You provide direction, encourage ownership, and foster a culture of collaboration and development. You support employees in their growth by coaching them effectively. You also maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. You understand their needs and translate them into practical and executable operational solutions. You stay on top of market developments and actively identify opportunities to expand or improve our services. In short, this role requires a high degree of commercial independence — you spot new opportunities and know how to turn them into real results.

You will be based at our headquarters in Erp and report directly to the Director Operations Liquid.

Your profile
  • A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering & Management;
  • 5 years of leadership experience; experience in bulk logistics is a plus;
  • Strong command of Dutch and English;
  • Entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and strong communication skills;
  • Flexible and willing to travel to the UK regularly (at least 6 times per year).
