As claims officer Logistics & Fleet, you are responsible for the correct handling of all damage claims received by Van den Bosch. You identify deficiencies in the coverage of existing insurance policies and report on them and ensure an efficient and effective claim settlement. You will also maintain good relations with our customers, insurers and other relevant parties and contribute to the quality assurance of our insurance activities.
In this position, you will deal with complex and extensive claims files. You ensure that all relevant information is collected and documented for the insurer. You have a professional and customer-oriented attitude in communicating with the parties involved, such as claimants, victims, witnesses and other stakeholders.
After receiving a claim, you investigate the facts and extent of all reported damages, determine the policy coverage and check whether the payment is correct. You recover damages not covered by our own insurance from the liable third party or parties. You also monitor the progress and quality of the claims process and ensure correct administration and reporting.
