The aim of this master thesis is to make an in-depth analysis of the Supplier Relationship Management concept, its development over time and the optimal approach for a specific group of suppliers at Van den Bosch. We want to combine the theoretical insights from the literature with the practical experiences of the company in order to design and implement an effective and efficient Supplier Relationship Management model.

A strategic procurement approach is essential for companies looking to grow in a competitive market. Instead of just looking at costs, companies should also consider the value their suppliers can provide in terms of quality, innovation, sustainability and risk management. To realise this value, it is important to apply Supplier Relationship Management, which focuses on building long-term and mutually beneficial partnerships with suppliers. By maintaining these relationships, companies can benefit from increased efficiency, flexibility and growth opportunities.

You will provide guidance to the Director Procurement and develop a stable framework for Supplier Relationship Management within Van den Bosch, combined with a proposal for which categories and suppliers this could be feasible.

Din profil
  • You are a master's student with interest or experience in Procurement and/or Logistics Management
  • You live near Erp or are willing to travel there (at least two days a week)
  • You can work well independently and dare to take initiative
  • You are fluent in English. Dutch is a plus
