As an AI specialist at Van Den Bosch, you will have a key role in implementing artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to revolutionise our business. Your first task will be to deeply understand our business model and create a comprehensive AI architecture strategy. This blueprint identifies key areas within the business - from customer service, planning and operations to finance and HR - where AI can have the greatest impact. It will be your responsibility to design and develop AI models aimed at optimising our overall business operations, directly contributing to our sustainability and efficiency goals.
In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing AI models to streamline internal operations, including customer experience departments. This could include an AI model to predict and optimise shipment scheduling, significantly reducing downtime and improving service levels for customers.
You will work closely with colleagues in various operational and functional teams to embed AI solutions into our operational frameworks.
Furthermore, you will perform data analysis to gain actionable insights and drive logistics innovation, keeping pace with developments in AI and machine learning and integrating the latest technologies into our processes.
In this way, you will assess and optimise existing and new AI systems to improve logistics efficiency.
