Van den Bosch is looking for a business developer to become part of team Bulkio, the team that focuses on the online matching platform for shippers and carriers within the bulk sector, also named Bulkio. As business developer Bulkio you are responsible for attracting new customers for this successful platform. You will be working at one of our offices in Erp, which has recently been renovated.
As a business developer, you will be part of team Bulkio. On their platform (also named Bulkio), shippers and carriers in silo and tank transport come together to find the right match. In your role, you will focus on attracting and retaining new shippers; logistics parties who want their product transported. You have contact with customers all over Europe and speak to them physically and digitally.
As a business developer you are responsible for the middle phase of the sales funnel. You are responsible for the introduction, onboarding, contracts and the first 10 trips. The lead time of these phases varies from less than 24 hours, to more than a year. When the customer enters the final phase, you hand over the respective customer to commercial support.
You have at least 5 years of experience as a business developer or comparable
Experience within the bulk sector is a big plus
Good command of the Dutch and English language
You have commercial insight and an innovative capacity
Willing to visit shippers abroad
Working in a scale-up within an international family owned business
Great events, such as BBQs, tournaments, concerts and pub quizzes
Working in an enthusiastic team with an informal work environment
Participating in an extensive introduction programme to get to know the whole company
